CTE Conference
I went to Park City this last week to the Health Science CTE conference. It was held at Park City High School. Talk about an amazing place! Park City is so beautiful this time of year. I was also very impressed with the high school. Big and beautiful, nothing second-rate at that school! The conference was very informative. One of our key note speakers was Eric Heiden, winner of 5 gold medals in the 1980 Olympics in speed skating. He and his wife are both orthopedic surgeons in the Park City area. It was pretty cool to hear about his life and his Olympic experience.

Park City is so beautiful. So are their schools. No wonder it is a mecca for the rich and famous. That is so cool that you got to hear from Eric Holden. (at first I thought you said Eric Holder, the Attorney General.) It seems like lots of times those Olympic champions go on to become highly accomplished people like orthopedic surgeons. I think it has something to do with the discipline it took to become an Olympic champion. I've had several of my sons "go out" for football during High School and they have become accomplished adults. I think physical discipline often carries over into other aspects of life.
